Our Story – How We Started
We started this company with a simple belief that every business deserves a sign that makes people stop, look, and remember.What began as a small workshop with just a handful of dedicated craftsmen has now grown into a trusted sign manufacturing company serving retail stores, restaurants, medical offices, and businesses across Tampa and surrounding cities.
Our founder saw a real problem in the sign industry that needed fixing. Too many sign companies were outsourcing their work to low quality factories located hundreds or even thousands of miles away. These companies were delivering generic, mass produced signs that looked cheap, lacked personality, and often failed or faded within just a few months. Business owners were frustrated with hidden fees that appeared out of nowhere, missed deadlines that pushed their projects back by weeks, and terrible communication that left them wondering what was happening with their sign. Customers felt like just another invoice number rather than a valued partner. We decided to do things completely differently from day one. We made a commitment to bring everything in-house – design, fabrication, permitting, and installation. No middlemen marking up prices.

Before opening this sign company, they worked in construction, electrical, and metal fabrication – gaining the exact skills needed to build durable, professional signs that stand the test of time. The decision to start a sign company came from seeing local business owners struggle with unreliable sign vendors who promised everything and delivered little.Â
OUR JOURNEY
Our journey started in a modest 1,200 square foot workshop located in an industrial area of Tampa. We had just three team members – our founder, one fabricator, and one designer. We did not have fancy equipment or a big marketing budget. What we had was determination, skill, and a commitment to doing right by our customers. We took every job seriously, no matter how small or simple it seemed.
A small boutique owner needed a basic panel sign for their storefront. We treated that project with the same care and attention as a large shopping center development. A family owned restaurant wanted illuminated channel letters. We spent extra time making sure the font and spacing looked perfect. A liquor store asked for a bright electronic message board to announce daily specials.
We helped them understand how to use it effectively to drive more foot traffic. We said yes to every project and poured our hearts into each one because we understood that every sign represents someone’s dream, someone’s investment, someone’s business. Word spread quickly throughout the Tampa business community. Business owners appreciated our clear, honest communication. They valued our fair, transparent pricing with no hidden fees.
They trusted our hands-on approach where the same team that designed their sign also built and installed it. We grew from three employees to seven, then from seven to fifteen.Our team now includes skilled designers who understand typography, color theory, and branding. Our fabricators have decades of combined experience working with aluminum, acrylic, stainless steel, and other materials.
Our installation specialists are fully licensed, insured, and trained to work safely on ladders, lifts, and roofs. We have now installed over 500 signs for retail stores, restaurants, medical offices, shopping centers, and businesses throughout the Tampa Bay area. Every sign we build carries our name, our reputation, and our pride in workmanship. OUR MILESTONES
Along our journey, we have reached several important milestones that make us proud of how far we have come. Each milestone represents countless hours of hard work, many challenges overcome, and hundreds of satisfied business owners who trusted us with their storefronts. In our very first year of business, we installed our first custom channel letter sign for a local boutique.
That sign is still glowing brightly today, more than ten years later, which is a testament to the quality of our craftsmanship and materials. In year three, we moved out of our original workshop and into our first dedicated fabrication shop. This allowed us to bring all production in-house for the first time, eliminating the need for any outsourcing and giving us complete control over quality, timing, and costs.
In year five, we reached a major milestone – 250 signs installed. To celebrate, we gave away a free sign to a local non-profit organization that could not afford one. That same year, we received our first perfect five-star review from a happy retail customer who said our sign transformed their business. In year seven, we expanded our team to include licensed electricians, so we could handle every part of the installation process ourselves from start to finish.
This was a game changer for our customers because they no longer needed to hire separate electricians or coordinate between multiple vendors.In year nine, we installed our 500th sign. This milestone was especially meaningful because it came from a repeat customer – a restaurant owner who first hired us for a small panel sign and then came back to us for a full illuminated storefront makeover several years later. That same year, we became a fully licensed, insured, and bonded sign company serving all of Tampa and surrounding cities including St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Brandon, and Wesley Chapel.
We also earned several important certifications that demonstrate our commitment to quality and safety. We are certified for UL listed electrical components, which means our illuminated signs meet rigorous safety standards. We are ETL certified for product safety. We maintain an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, reflecting our commitment to resolving any customer concerns quickly and fairly. We have also received dozens of five-star reviews on Google, Yelp, and Facebook from business owners who appreciate our communication, quality, and professionalism.
Perhaps the milestone we are most proud of is not a number or a certification – it is the long term relationships we have built with our customers. Many of the businesses that trusted us with their first sign have come back to us for second, third, and even fourth signs as they have grown and expanded. That loyalty tells us we are doing something right. We do not just build signs for our customers – we build partnerships that last for years.
OUR FUTURE GOALS
We are proud of how far we have come, but we are not finished growing. Our future goals focus on serving more businesses across Florida while maintaining the quality, personal attention, and honest communication that built our reputation from the very beginning. We never want to become one of those impersonal, hard-to-reach sign companies that treats customers like just another order number. Growth means nothing if it comes at the cost of quality or customer service. Our first major goal is to expand our fabrication capacity significantly over the next two years.
We plan to move into a larger facility – approximately 10,000 square feet – with room for additional CNC equipment, a larger paint booth, dedicated LED assembly stations, and a proper design studio where customers can meet with our team and see material samples in person. This expansion will allow us to offer even faster turnaround times without sacrificing the quality that our customers expect.
We are also planning to invest in new equipment including a fiber laser cutter for precision metal fabrication and an automated LED testing system that can test hundreds of modules simultaneously. These investments will help us build better signs faster and more efficiently.
Beyond equipment and facilities, we have goals focused on serving our community better. We plan to launch an annual Small Business Sign Grant Program that will provide one free storefront sign each year to a deserving local startup, small business, or non-profit organization that cannot afford professional signage. We believe every business deserves to be seen, regardless of their budget.
This grant program is our way of giving back to the Tampa community that has supported us for over a decade. We are also planning to add same-day design consultations for local Tampa businesses who need signs quickly. If you call us in the morning, we can visit your storefront in the afternoon, take measurements and photos, and provide a digital mockup within 24 to 48 hours. For customers outside the Tampa area, we are expanding our virtual consultation options with live video walkthroughs and remote measurement tools.
Our long term goal is simple but ambitious – to become the most trusted sign manufacturing partner for retail stores and businesses throughout Florida. We want business owners from Jacksonville to Miami, from Orlando to Naples to know our name and trust our quality. We will get there the same way we started – one quality sign, one happy customer, one honest relationship at a time. No shortcuts. No excuses. Just excellent signs built by excellent people.
